I am Monika Sattler from Germany / Bavaria. I am 48 years old and now over 24 years married. I have an 23 year young charming daughter.

All my fairies are handmade without the use of molds. I have been making my Fairies for a little over two years now.

As long as I can remember, I have loved making things with my own hands and enjoyed creating beautiful things. AND: I believe in Fairies and dwarfs. I noticed that a lot of times the figurines are made from Polyresin-stone or plastic, but it`s a cold, unnatural and hard material - not fine and soft enough for their delicate nature.

So I was looking on the Internet for "something", that came closer to my conception of Fairies... and found beautiful fairies made of Polymer Clay. THAT was what I wanted to find...

My interest in creating Fairies from PolymerClay came about from seeing some on Ebay and it became my greatest wish to learn how to do some of my own.
